The homeowners had been long time admirers of Frank Lloyd Wright and had had a life long dream to live in a contemporary home using the designs based on his principles. The main portion of the home consists of the great room, kitchen, dining area, master suite, indoor pool and spa as well as a therapy pool. The guest rooms are found in a separate guest wing and have their own kitchen and living areas for privacy as well. Masonry walls with low E windows and a metal roof give a strong and protective feel to the interior spaces. The great room has a 20 foot high ceiling with a custom designed fireplace by ODW. Interior finishes such as terrazzo flooring, zinc and stainless steel complement exterior finishes which keeps the integrity of the design in tact.
