Keeping the needs of the client in mind is always a priority.  This particular client owns 132 pieces of George Nakashima’s furniture, one of the largest private collections of his work in the world.  A home designed particularly for their unique lifestyle and furniture was essential. In order to accomplish this, a comprehensive study of their current home which accommodated all 132 pieces of furniture was done.

Another consideration was the sloping contour of the home site. The entry was positioned at the upper slope of the lot, which opens up to the main portion of the home including the great room, kitchen, dining and living areas, study and guest room. The lower level of the home accommodates the master suite, family room, outdoor patio and pool and a magnificent view of the Valley of the Sun beyond.
