THE PROMENADE
The Promenade is a 300,000 sq. ft. mixed use project which includes office buildings, retail, restaurants and a visitor center. Plazas and gathering spaces between the buildings celebrate music and nature. Taliesin Architects were the design consultants on the entire project and were the main Architectural firm for the Spire and Visitor Center.
The most striking feature is a 125’ tall Spire in steel and translucent acrylic sheets. The complex along with the Spire serves as an entrance to the city.
The New York Times described the Promenade as celebrating the union of architecture and its environment. The Arizona Republic referred to it as a project unlike any Scottsdale has ever seen before, celebrating its desert heritage.
Gustad was the Project Manager / Design Architect for the Spire and Yumi was the Project Manager / Design Architect for the Visitor Center.
